Hello, world.

If you've stumbled across this blog, I want to take a moment to share something close to my heart. This post is a tribute to my best friend and the owner of this blog, who passed away in 2018 due to complications from Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO). I wanted to write this so that her memory could live on and so others might get to know just how special she was.

Her final years were incredibly tough. NMO, a rare and debilitating autoimmune disease, made each day a challenge. But what truly stands out to me is how she faced it all with such bravery. She didn’t let the pain or struggles define her. Even when things seemed impossible, she kept fighting with a courage and strength that inspired everyone around her.

Beyond her strength, she was an amazing woman. She had a heart of gold—kind, compassionate, and always ready to listen. Her laughter could light up a room, and her friendship was a gift I will treasure forever. The impact she had on my life and the lives of those who knew her is immeasurable.

Though she’s no longer physically with us, she’s still here in spirit. She is missed every day. And I hope that, in sharing this, I can help keep her memory alive—honouring the beautiful, resilient soul she was.

Rest in peace, my friend and sister of my heart. You are loved, and you will never be forgotten
